Saturnia's Thermal baths - Mulino's Falls

The warm spring of Saturnia’s thermal baths is located in a volcanic crater, where today there is the Spa centre. It runs along a natural stream, the Gorello, for about 500 meters until it forms a picturesque waterfall that carved many limestone pools, smoothed over the centuries, at the foot of which the water flowed into the river Stellata, and are lost in common waters.
Mulino’s waterfalls is one of the most beautiful and famous places in Saturnia, always busy, both day and night by many swimmers.
On the side of the waterfalls, there is an old mill, which gives the name to the place, and in the future probably will be utilized for tourism services. There is a large parking and a bar service.in the area.
The waterfalls are about 2 km. from the village of Saturnia: just beyond the entrance to the spa and the service station, you will see a dirt road on the curve of the main road.
At the top of the waterfall you can walk backwards the thermal stream, known as "Gorello", and choose a more intimate place for bathing.
